A set of tools for Eddy Covariance data monitoring and analytics

EddyEye Suite unifies Map, Pulse and Hub into a set of tools that empowers scientists and technicians to track ecosystem health, gain insights from flux data, and act quickly when problems arise.

EddyEye Map

Interactive real-time status map showing operational health of Eddy Covariance stations and data flows.

Target Group: Technicians Update Time: Every minute Time Window: Realtime Data Type: High-frequency; Low-frequency
How it works

EddyEye Map keeps a live picture of station health and data flow across the network. It blends freshness, completeness, and lightweight QA hints into one easy status so you see what needs attention now. Markers cluster cleanly at scale, colors show overall state, and a click opens component-level details with last-seen times and recent activity. The view auto-updates and highlights regressions or recoveries, helping technicians spot issues early and coordinate fixes without digging through logs.

EddyEye Pulse

A powerful dashboard for intra-day monitoring and rapid issue detection.

Target Group: Technicians; Scientists Update Time: Every 30 min Time Window: 1 day Data Type: High-Frequency Data
How it works

EddyEye Pulse keeps continuous watch on high-frequency streams and adapts to each site. It maintains a site-aware baseline across multiple signals and watches for shifts that matter. When patterns change, a lightweight scoring step weighs what changed and why, so only meaningful events reach you. Time is normalized to your local zone, so the “last seen” moment is always clear. Alerts include the likely cause and a suggested next step. A short, shareable daily brief keeps the whole team aligned.

EddyEye Hub

Dashboard for scientists with daily updates of high-frequency, low-frequency and EddyPro-based flux data across multiple time scales.

Target Group: Scientists Update Time: Daily Time Window: Weekly; Monthly; Yearly Data Type: High-frequency; Low-frequency; EddyPro© estimates
How it works

Every day EddyEye Hub downloads weekly, monthy and annual data from the SQL server, normalizes timestamps, and checks data completeness. Quality filters reduce spikes and obvious artifacts, then the data are organized into analysis-ready 30-minute files. Fluxes are pre-calculated using EddyPro© software based on project metadata. High-frequency data, low-frequency data, and pre-calculated fluxes are published in a clean, easy-to-understand, interactive web view. Backups are created, and old buffer data are deleted to keep storage healthy. The pipeline runs automatically, allows manual overrides, and tolerates station or server outages without stalling.
